Project

EYRO uses music in fun and safe spaces (Music Labs) to work with young people, particularly vulnerable young people to take them out of isolation and help them work on fundamental social and life skills.
The EYRO Music Labs will engage vulnerable youth at risk of social exclusion throughout Europe. The Labs will be organised as a ” orchestras”, aiming at strengthening the young people’s sense of belonging to a team, learning to set ambitious but realistic objectives, stimulating their creativity and desire to learn new skills. EYRO will create:

1. An inclusive, collaborative EU ‘youth remote orchestra’ for young people, offering mentoring and coaching in playing music together across Europe.

2. A training programme to allow music teachers to work effectively with vulnerable young people (i.e. emotional intelligence-based competences) and with the selected technology (digital competences).

3. A Guideline to offer EU institutions and organisations across the EU working with vulnerable youth an innovative approach for their engagement and social inclusion, as well as a tool to foster a sense of belonging to the EU.
